Beginner's Intro to Triple Step Dance - Cha Cha & East Coast Swing
**no class the week of Thanksgiving (11/27)**
$80 per person or $150 per dance couple
Triple your fun by learning Ballroom Cha cha and East Coast Swing. Both can be challenging dances but by breaking steps down, patient with yourself, engaging regular practice & receiving encouragement, it'll all be just plain fun! And you'll dance to some of the best music of the 50s-60s!
The instructor is very encouraging and hands-on. Have fun while building skill & confidence!
Note: Practicing will be important and dancers must wear smooth soled shoes
A threaded or rubber sole will not permit the dancer to pivot easily, and that could result in injury when a dancer tries to turn.
Sera Hirasuna competed in international ballroom competitions for several years with her "Pro" partners, but after a series of injuries, enrolled in a dance academy to learn how to teach ballroom dance. She has taught for a number of private studios and non-profit dance clubs. Sera has also taught English at Gavilan for over 13 years.
