Cooking with Aloha (love)

Let's put some Aloha (love) into it!
In this class, you will be presented with a combination of already prepared dishes and ingredients in order to create others "from scratch". We will participate in discussions about the culture represented and the concept of an "Aloha Mixed Plate" lunches and dinners. Recipes will be distributed with each dish. Students will work in groups to create, eat, and enjoy their creations.
Learn about delicious foods from many cultures in Hawaii. Taste prepared dishes and/or create: home-made Teriyaki Sauce, Kalua pork, Inari Sushi, Chicken Abodo, and of course deserts
Joanne M. Doell was born and raised on Maui and is adept at creating foods from many cultures there. She is experienced with many years in creating "Thematic" dinners and individual classes for delighted dinners.
