DIY International Vacations

Have you dreamt of traveling abroad but don't know where to start?

This is the class you've been waiting for. This course will take students step-by-step through planning their dream international vacations on a budget. Students will learn how to apply for a passport and choose which country they will visit. The class will conduct in-class research to compare ticket pricing, booking, dining, transportation and lodging options. Ample class time will be provided for investigation and discussion. At the end of this class, students will have applied for their passport and will have their travel itinerary planned and ready to book.

What to Bring
Students should bring their personal laptop or tablet computers with them to this course, if possible.

Robin Wheatfall has taught at several south county schools. She spent six years living abroad and has traveled to over twenty countries. She loves to share what she has learned through her international travels with people and wants to give her students all the information necessary to plan their perfect trips.
