‘Ono’ Hawaiian Foods and More

You’re right—‘ono’ means delicious! Are you ready to learn new cuisines without the cost of traveling? Come and experience, create and enjoy Hawaiian, Filipino and Japanese dishes from the island’s multicultural cuisines. Students will learn Hawaiian cooking in a fun, Aloha atmosphere, and they eat what they prepare. The class will share their experiences with Hawaii’s many wonderful foods and will receive recipes from the instructor. Grouped into teams, students will decide on dishes, cook and prepare 3-6 delectable recipes. Then students can taste their creations and enjoy with the whole class.

Joanne M. Doell, BA/MA Speech Pathology & Audiology has 25+ years of experience teaching. She has taught communication, technology, business, customer service, supervision, Forever Learning and Enrichment classes at a variety of universities and Community Centers.
