Learn basic metal fabrication and welding methods including: MIG welding, grinding, drilling & tapping, oxy-acetylene cutting, and plasma cutting. This course is useful for the small business owner, farmer, or home hobbyist and consists of skills practice and a project. Students are expected to bring their own safety equipment: safety glasses, leather work gloves, welding gloves, and hearing protection. Steel-toed work boots, or leather work shoes are not required, but are HIGHLY recommended.
