Veterinary Assistant Program

Veterinary assistants work in veterinary offices under the direction of a veterinarian. Their main responsibility is providing care according to a veterinarian’s orders.

This course combines 84 hours of classroom instruction and a 40 hour externship

Requirements for Program: Students must be 18 years of age or older; have proof of H.S. graduation or GED; be proficient in keyboarding; understand computing and word processing; command of the English Language and Math; have internet access, printing capabilities and a working email address that they can check. All eligible students must be able to pass drug and background checks.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds for this program, please choose carefully.

Class Schedule: Classes to be held on Saturdays from 8am-4pm 3.9.19 - 6.8.19 (no classes 4/20/19 & 5/4/19).

Course Fee: $1,700  - Payment Plan option available
Students are responsible for ancillary costs.

Financial Assistance: Regular college Financial Aid is not applicable to this program.

You may be eligible for state funds for career training for this program! Inquire at your local America’s Job Center of California.
