Become a Certified Scuba Diver (Ages 10 & Up)
This one-month SCUBA Diving certification program will open the door to fascinating underwater adventures, teaching you safe SCUBA diving techniques while preparing you for recreational dive trips. Become a certified SCUBA Diver! Join us as we train together for a month to prepare you to explore the oceans! Ours is an all-inclusive price (no hidden charges) including student textbook and class materials, pool use, Instructor fees, rental of the SCUBA Hard Gear (Buoyancy Compensator Device BCD, SCUBA regulator system including submersible pressure gauge, instrument console, and two second-stage regulators), SCUBA air tanks and pool air fills, rental of lead weights. No gear is needed for the orientation (first) session as the instructor will advise you on what gear you need to buy. Students must pass a basic swim test and all students must fill out a student medical form to determine your fitness to dive. In some cases you may be asked to bring the medical form to your family doctor to get his/her signature confirming that you are fit to dive. For details, please contact Lead Instructor, Mauri Munoz at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 408-713-1211. Early registration is highly recommended. Special Notice: Upon successful completion of the SCUBA e-learning module, pool and classroom sessions, students shall travel to Monterey Bay to complete their four ocean certification (examination) dives. The rental of hard gear for the two days in Monterey is also included in the class dues. Minors welcome with a parent/guardian also enrolled in the class. Minors may still enroll in this class without parent also enrolling but a parent or legal guardian must be present during the course of the class, assisting minor on the surface.
