Become a Certified Scuba Diver (Ages 10 & Up)
This one-month NAUI certification program will open the door to
fascinating underwater adventures, teaching you safe SCUBA diving
techniques while preparing you for recreational dive trips. Ours is an
all-inclusive price (no hidden charges) including textbook, e-learn kit, dive
tables, pool use, instructor fees, rental of the SCUBA Hard Gear
(Buoyancy Compensator Device BCD, SCUBA regulator system including
submersible pressure gauge, instrument console, and two second-stage
regulators), SCUBA air tanks and pool air fills, rental of weight belt and
weights. No gear is needed for the orientation session, as the instructor
will advise you on what you need to buy. Students must pass a basic
swim test. For details, please contact Lead Instructor, Mauri Munoz at

recommended.
Special Notice:
Students must bring a light lunch. Time will be spent between classroom and the
pool. Upon successful completion of the SCUBA e-learning module, pool and
classroom sessions, students are welcome to drive to Monterey Bay to complete
their four ocean certification dives. The rental of hard gear for the two Saturdays
in Monterey is also included in the class dues. Minors welcome with a parent/
guardian also enrolled in the class.
CaliDivers Scuba diving program promotes and actively supports SCUBA related
activities and events both within California as well as regionally and
internationally. Founded in 2004, the CaliDivers Dive Network became a 501(c)
(7) not-for-profit recreational club in 2012.

Cancellation Policy: Community Education office must receive your request for
cancellation in writing via fax, email or by mail (mail must be received by
deadline; postmarks not accepted) by May 24, 2018 for the May - June class, by
Jul. 12, 2018 for the July class, and by Aug. 9, 2018 for the August class, before
5:00 pm. You will receive your money back minus a $100 cancellation fee. No
exceptions to cancellation policy.

3. as I reminder, two extra benefits have been added in an effort to make this class more affordable for the college students:
3.1 we lowered the price of the class to $425 including all items as per the above.
3.2 we are offering a SCUBA softgear rental option for those who can't afford to buy their own soft gear package.

"Theory (classroom) sessions are the first three class sessions to be held at Pacific Ocean Water Sports located 431 First Street Gilroy CA 95020.
Following the completion of the theory sessions we will train at the Gavilan College Pool located on campus".
